Former West Ham, Chelsea and Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard was on target in the MLS on Saturday night.
Lampard broke the deadlock as the New York City FC won 2-1 away at the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Lampard’s goal was a trademark strike from the veteran, as he appeared late on the scene to smash home a clinical strike in the box just before the half hour mark.
The goal was Lampard’s second since arriving in America.
