11 Turkish police killed in car bomb attack

 



 

Eleven Turkish police officers were killed on Friday in a suicide car bombing at
a security checkpoint in the restive south-eastern town of Cizre.

Government officials said in Istanbul that the bombing by the roadblock outside
a police headquarters, also injured 75 security force members and three
civilians.
