Crystal Palace included a bizarre set of clauses in their offer for Liverpool
striker Christian Benteke, it has emerged.

The Eagles offered an initial £23.5m with £7m in potential add-ons for the
Anfield flop, according to the Daily Telegraph.



But they say £2.5m of that extra cash relied on Palace reaching the Champions
League in a season [...]
