The Chelsea man has been struggling for the national team of late, managing only one goal before the match. | Chelsea Have A Staggering 38 Players On Loan – Lucas Piazon Discusses Life As A Chelsea Loanee Posted: 05 Sep 2016 04:56 PM PDT Championship side Fulham have signed Chelsea forward Lucas Piazon, this will be his fifth loan spell in the last five years. The young Brazilian is at Craven Cottage until January with an option to extend the deal until the end of the season. By then, there will be only a year on his Chelsea contract and, if Antonio Conte does not want him, the Brazil Under 23 international will seek a move to a place where he can put down roots and develop his career. ‘I hope I can do a good job at Fulham,’ said Piazon. ‘It’s a good club and a traditional club. ‘They have started the season well. Then I have to stay for more than one year at a club who can see me as their player and not a player from Chelsea who will one day go back to Chelsea. ‘I’m tired of moving abroad. One, two, three loans, maybe that’s enough. It’s time for me to stay somewhere more than one year. When they know you’ll stay whatever happens, people look at you with different eyes. ‘If I had the chance to go for more than one season I’d do it.’ ‘It makes no sense to go on loan all the time,’ he said. ‘It is not good for any player in my experience — or the experience of the other boys. I don’t see it as a positive thing any more. To be in a different place every year is not good for me at 22.
‘I had a great time at Vitesse Arnhem and that helped. The Dutch league is all about playing football. They don’t defend like crazy. They played twice against Brentford, once against Southend and a French team as well as practice games against each other. As they drift off to play for different clubs they link up via a WhatsApp group and receive emails from Newton and his coaching team. Dialogue with Conte, however, is hard to come by. ‘We haven’t spoken much and we’ve said nothing about football. ‘It’s difficult when there’s a big change. The Italian mentality is to train hard. They arrived and then went to Austria and then to the USA. The players have found the training tough but they’re enjoying it.’ ‘I still want to make it at Chelsea, of course,’ he said. ‘I came to Europe to play for Chelsea and want to do it. Maybe I can come back in the future. ‘If that’s not possible I want to go somewhere and stay for more than one season. Not just stay stuck in the club.’

| Joel Campbell Says He Deserved To Play More At Arsenal Posted: 05 Sep 2016 04:21 PM PDT Joel Campbell has hit back at Arsenal’s decision to send him out on loan to Sporting Lisbon again this season. Campbell joined the Gunners from Costa Rican club Saprissa in 2011 and was subsequently sent out on loan to Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiacos for the following three seasons. After impressing during a half-season loan spell at Villarreal, Campbell earned a place in Arsenal’s squad for the 2015-16 campaign and made 30 appearances for the Gunners, scoring four goals. "I think I deserved to play more after what I did last year, but now is a new stage. I feel good, happy, this is a new experience," he told Portuguese newspaper A Bola. But Gunners scout Luis Boa Morte thinks the striker will return as a better player, telling the club’s official website: "He's got all the qualities to play for them (Sporting) and as long as he does well, I'm sure we'll be the beneficiaries here because he'll come back an even better player. | Robbers Reveal How They Use Generators To Enter Homes Posted: 05 Sep 2016 02:30 PM PDT Police have arrested two armed robbers in Ikorodu who use generators to gain access to victim’s homes. One of the arrested was 27-year old Isaac Ogbonna, who claimed he went into robbery to save the life of his elder sister. He said: "I could not stand and watch my elder sister die. I have been living with her since I came back from Enugu, after my business folded up. "She has been sick and I had donated blood twice, yet the sickness persisted. At first we brought in a nurse who treated her and collected N9,000. But there was no improvement. We had to take her to the hospital where we were told to deposit N20,000. "I approached one of my friends, Ishola Dede, (pointing to his partner in crime), who assured me that he would help me raise the money because my sister had once shown him kindness.” "He introduced me to two other persons, Ishola and Sadiq, at a drinking joint. Our plan was to attack any house that still has its power generating set on after midnight. Generator robbers arrested after car is traced"Last Monday, we stormed a house at Ogolonto; we jumped the fence and put off the power generating set. A man came out with a torch light to inspect what was wrong and we pointed a gun at him and followed him into his apartment. "We collected laptops, phones and N80,000. As we were about leaving, Sadiq requested for the car keys, but we told him to forget about it since it was not part of the plan. "Our plan was to raid about 10 houses. But he insisted and went away with the car, saying the amount would cover what we would get in 10 houses. "Next day, he told us to meet at a hotel and that he had sold the car. Unknown to us policemen had traced the car through the tracking device. "Unfortunately, I was told this morning, after I was arrested, that my sister died a day before. All my efforts have been in vain."

| Cross River To Float Airline, Cally Air – Governor Ayade Posted: 05 Sep 2016 02:00 PM PDT Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River state says the state government is going to float an airline, called ‘Cally Air’ as part of its tourism investment drive. The Governor said this in Calabar today while playing host to a consortium of Indian investors. According to him, Cally Air will be managed by Dana Group under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement. “We have our own state’s aircraft currently in Aero Contractors’ fleet in Lagos. The management of Dana Airline has agreed to do a detailed technical study of the aircraft before it commences commercial flight operations,” he explained. Cross River announces Cally AirAccording to him, the airline is expected to debut in November and would fly Lagos, Calabar, Obudu and Abuja routes. Gov. Ayade said the state was in a haste to get the airline up and running. Dana Air would also serve as its technical partner. Mr Jackies Hartmani, the Managing Director of Dana Group also applauded the joint partnership between both parties. “My company is very impressed with what Gov. Ayade is doing to transform the state in terms of investment and we are committed to ensuring success of the partnership,” Hartmani added in addition. Jonathan Heimes, aged 26, raised hundreds of euros for charity before he died of cancer on the 8th of March. An agreement was reached with ground sponsors Merck. The Merck-Stadion am Boellenfalltor will be known as the Jonathan-Heimes Stadion am Boellenfalltor for the 2016-17 Bundesliga season. The move is also set up to help the non-profit organisation ‘Du Musst Kampfen’ which serves children suffering with cancer. Merck also invested in a new tram to run through the city from Tuesday with the message: ‘Thank You, Johnny’ SV Darmstadt renames stadium after cancer victim“It is a motivational tool for us, we want to remain in the league again and this connection with Johnny will give us an additional push. Everyone who identifies with us identifies with Jonathan” said Darmstadt captain Aytac Sulu. Darmstadt played in the third division of German football up until 2014. Since then its been back to back promotions for the club who finished 14th in the Bundesliga last season. “Jonathan was a strong companion of Darmstadt success,” said club president Rudiger Fritsch. “Despite his illness, Jonathan has repeatedly given the team a lot of energy”. Heimes’ father Martin said the club and its sponsors had made a “great gesture” in naming the stadium of the club he loved and supported so much after his son. Darmstadt shirt sponsor Software AG also agreed to have its name replaced by ‘Du Musst Kampfen’ for one game.
