Police arrest 29 car jackers, recover 12 cars
The Special Tactical Squad of the Nigerian Police has arrested 29 suspected
car jackers, while simultaneously recovering 12 vehicles.
The arrests followed a crackdown ordered by the Inspector General of Police,
Ibrahim K. Idris, after being inundated by reports of car thefts and removal
of vehicles from where they were packed by unidentified people, nationwide.
